Allyson Witt is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), who obtained her Master’s in Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville in 2015. Through her experiences working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in community based and residential settings it has allowed her to become specialized in treating trauma, mood and personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm, psychosis, and providing crisis stabilization, education and support services to individuals and families of those who live with severe and persistent mental illnesses.


Allyson enjoys working with each client to tailor their treatment by identifying challenges unique to each individual. Together Allyson and the client will explore the root cause of each issue and work to incorporate interventions and develop long term strategies that will assist each client in meeting their mental health goals. Allyson integrates brain and body-based somatic and behavioral therapies poly vagal theory, DBT, and ACT with a trauma informed approach to assist each client to tune into their body to enhance their mind’s interactions with bodily functions to induce relaxation and improve overall health and well-being. Allyson is currently accepting children, young adults, adults, and families as new clients.
