Phil is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and graduated from Roosevelt University in 2024 with a Master's in Clinical Psychology.
Phil began working in the mental health field at a community mental health center working with children and families. He has experience with children facing academic challenges, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression and family conflict. He enjoys working with children, teens, adolescents and adults of all ages and brings his experience as a family therapist in his approach.
Phil believes that therapy is a relationship and healing happens through the unique relationship between therapist and client. His focus in therapy is to guide individuals to create meaning in their lives and to foster personal growth. Phil's creative background allows him to adapt his approach to be personalized to the individual's needs. Phil's approach to therapy incorporates multiple modalities but is grounded in Existential philosophy. He uses a blend of Dialectal Behavior Therapy and Family Systems to guide individuals in gaining insight into their personal and cultural values.
