Professional Summary
Noell earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
Noell began her career in 2008 and her professional experience is grounded in the abuse and trauma field. Noell has enjoyed meeting and working with people of different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences across various social service and community mental health settings. Her specialty in trauma work influences her approach through an emphasis on empathy, healing, and unconditional positive regard. Although her specialty is trauma work, Noell also has many years of experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including depression and mood disorders, anxiety, anger/aggression, low self-esteem, ADHD, stress management, and more.
Choosing to pursue therapy is a brave and oftentimes nerve-wracking experience. Noell makes it her goal to put her clients at ease, meeting them where they are at to create a safe and comfortable space where they can feel at ease to be their most authentic selves. Noell takes the time to get to know each
individual and together they formulate a plan to uniquely address their therapeutic needs. Her style welcomes people into therapy, even those who may be unsure of how therapy may work for them. She combines empathy and compassion with solid evidenced based clinical skills to help clients achieve
lasting change. Noell truly believes that everyone has the power within them to overcome barriers, break negative cycles, and live their best life!
