Professional Summary

Nicole Andersen is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP),  She is  a Master of Social Work (MSW) candidate dedicated to supporting clients across the lifespan, from children to adults, as they navigate life’s challenges. Her clinical work focuses on helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship stressors. She also provide affirming care to LGBTQIA+ clients and have a strong passion for supporting those who love and care for someone with special needs. Additionally, she also works with neurodiverse clients, including individuals on the autism spectrum and who have ADHD, offering a space where they feel understood and supported.

Nicole's therapeutic style is collaborative and client-led, grounded in the belief that each person holds the capacity for growth and healing. She draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including traditional talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and attachment-based work. By integrating these approaches, she aims to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their stories, develop coping strategies, and build stronger connections with themselves and others.

Outside of the therapy room, Nicole enjoys spending time with my family, going for walks with my pup, and reading a good book (clients are always welcome to share their favorite reads with me during session!). She also loves checking out new restaurants and exploring new experiences in the community.

Above all, Nicole strives to meet clients where they are, honoring their strengths while walking alongside them on their journey toward greater well-being and fulfillment.
