Professional Summary
Thomas Miller is a Counselor in Training working toward becoming a Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC). He earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from DePaul University (2013) with minors in English literature and applied psychology. He also finished his associate’s degree in computer aided design (2019) and expects to complete his Master of Arts in counseling from Northwestern University in 2026.
His work experience includes substitute teaching in the public-school setting and supporting special education classes. These experiences taught Thomas the
importance of humility and learning throughout life’s journey.
While he has experience working with high school students, he is interested in working with adults from various backgrounds focusing on existential, psychodynamic, and humanistic modalities. Being a counselor in training, Thomas is still developing his expertise and specialty.
